Power BI Financial Reporting

Those who have tried creating Profit and Loss / Balance Sheets in Power BI will know.. its not easy. Lets be clear, a pivot table wont cut it for a manager wanting to see a P&L. They expect to see sales, minus cost of sales = Gross margin. Then Expenses subtotaled, then an EBIT line etc..

It sounds simple, but those who have tried this in Power BI will know it certainly has some challenges!
